Enjoy a 1 1/2 hour ferry from Anacortes to Orcas Island, the largest of the San Juan Islands where we find an eclectic community of artisans and small businesses. Its diverse landscape of mountains, wooded countryside and spectacular vistas make it a popular destination. We will stay two nights at the beautiful Rosario Resort & Spa, the island’s largest hotel, and the former estate of shipbuilder Robert Moran. It offer first-class dining and accommodations, as well as sweeping views of the sound. We will have a delicious dinner here as well as listen to piano concert by Christopher Peacock. We will also cruise the San Juan Islands on our privately chartered whale watching boat in search of Orca whales and wildlife. There will be free time to explore the island on your own - go kayaking, bicycling or even take a ferry to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island to have dinner and shop.
